Consultant Family Medicine

Education:

MBBS or equivalent from an accredited institution. E

Saudi board in Family medicine or equivalent from an accredited institution. E

Work Experience:

Minimum of 4 years’ satisfactory experience after recognized board in a recognized institution. E

Main duties & Responsibilities: 

1. Provides high standard patient care according to principles and practices of Family Medicine under the guidance and supervision of a consultant when required
2. A minimum of 70% of the time spent in direct patient care
3. Provides consultation services to other physicians within the center during the regular work and determine final patient care plan
4. Actively participates in the quality improvement program of FM&PHC
5. Takes full responsibilities of the center/department and hospital's administrative tasks that are assigned. This may Include the center/department or hospital standing and ad-hoc committees or representation of the department on committees and/or activities outside the center
6. Participates in scientific research and contribute to the center's educational activities and postgraduate training programs as per the Department Policies and Procedures (DPPs)
7. Regularly participates in educational activities in order to acquire new skills and knowledge and to support career advancements and to maintain registration in Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
8. Perform other job related duties as assigned
