Principle Duties:
Provide inpatient, outpatient and home based care consultation (through the home care program) to patients referred to palliative care services
Provide education and direction for hospital physicians and other staff in end of life care. Provide education, and supervision of residents, and follows in discipline of palliative medicine.
Initiate and conduct clinical research projects and trials in area of palliative medicine. Participate in departmental activities to maintain professional standards and adherence to hospital and departmental policies. Uphold the mission of hospital and subscribe to medical staff by laws, rules and regulations.
Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.
Participate in self and others education, training and development, as applicable. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education:
1. Recognized medical degree.
2. Experience in palliative care medicine in recognized center.
3. Certification as a specialist in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatric, oncology is highly desirable.
Work Experience: equal or exceed 5 years

English Language Skills: Must. Arabic Language Skills: Preferred.
