STAFF PHYISICAN NEUROSURGERY

Main Duties and Responsibilities
He is governed by the responsibilities outlined in the Medical Staff Bylaws. Expected to be present and productive during normal working hours, To be available for contact at any time while in town.
Works under the supervision of a Consultant/Section Head or designee.
Allowed primary care responsibility as defined by the supervisor who may also take over aspects of cases as necessary.
May be assigned specific duties within the Division of Neurosurgery with restricted responsibilities.
Does not admit in his name.
Operate in OR within his/her approved privileges.
Provides high quality of surgical care consistent with his experience.
Involved in the instruction and education of the residents.
Attend and participates in all division meetings, educational program of the division and attend the department of surgery meeting.
Participates in the ongoing quality management program and researches.
Meet the CME requirements of Saudi specialization.
Ensure approval of proper TRA by the Department Head or designee before going on leave,
Maintain the spirit of teamwork in the Division of Neurosurgery
Perform other job related duties

Education: Graduate from a medical school recognized by NGHA.

Certification by the appropriate specialty board approved by the Saudi Council for Health Specialties and acceptable to NGHA from an accredited institution. 

Experience: Minimum of one year experience in Neurosurgery, in an appropriate healthcare facility acceptable to NGHA

English Language: Level - l — Preferred. Arabic Language: Preferred. Computer Skills: Level II — Essential
