Assistant Consultant Anesthesiology

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Under Consultant supervision and/or responsibility provides high quality Anesthesia care and related services to patients. Provide Anesthesia consultation services as required.
• Supervise and teach Anesthetists or lower grades, both residents in training and Staff Physician.
• Participate in departmental and hospital teaching activities.
• Participate in or generate research activities.
• Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
• Maintain a list of privileges, and work within the confines of their work experience and skills.
• Understand and adhere to all hospital related policies and procedures pertaining to medical practice.
• Participate in the quality improvement and reviews conducted by the Department of Anesthesia.
• Perform other assigned duties, as appropriate.
• Acquire appropriate computer skills to utilize the hospital's computerization program.
• Undertake continuing medical education activities.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Education: 

• Bachelor Degree in MBBS or equivalent from an accredited institution. – Essential
• Board Certified in Anesthesia

Work Experience: 

Minimum of Two (2) years’ experience.

• English Language: Level— I — Essential. 
• Arabic Language :  Preferred.
• Computer skills: Level — IV Essential
