Assistant Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology

Main duties & Responsibilities: 

1. Follow Organization/Departmental Policies and Procedures.
2. Ensure the maintenance of high medical ethical standards in the practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology and adhere to medical staff by-laws of the organization.
3. Outline the management plan for outpatient female patients with assurance of continuity of medical care.
4. Care for and treat during prenatal, natal and post-natal periods.
5. Diagnose and treat diseases for female organs, prescribe or administer therapy, medication and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, diseases and injury.
6. Diagnose and treatment of all issues associated with the female reproductive system.
7. To perform diagnostic and/or therapeutic intervention and procedures for which he/she has been trained and has specific privileges for.
8. Consult with or provide consulting services to other physicians within the center during working hours.
9. Provide close supervision to clinical performance of subordinates and act as role model.
10. Share in the development of Departmental Policies and Procedures (DPPs) and Quality Improvement Projects.
11. Take part with other members of the Department in the development of research relevant for improvement of patient care.
12. Participate In educational activities in order to acquire new skills and knowledge and to support career developments.
13. Participate in clinical training, supervision and assessment of residents, staff physicians, medical interns and students during academic activities.
14. Perform other lob related duties as assigned
