Principle Duties :
1. Provide high quality anesthesia care to the patient clientele
2. Provide anesthesia consultation services as requested
3. Supervise and teach anesthetists of lower grade; including residents and fellows
4. Participate in departmental and hospital teaching
5. Participate and generate research activities
6. Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed
7. Maintain a list of privileges, and work within the confines of their work experience and skills
8. Understand and adhere to all hospital related policies and procedures pertaining to medical practice
9. Participate in the quality improvement reviews conducted by the Department of Pediatric Anesthesia
10. Perform other related duties as appropriate and as assigned
11. Acquire appropriate computer skills, to utilize the hospital's computerization program
12. Undertake continuing medical education activities
Education: Completion of required period of training in anesthesia, with Saudi/Arab or North American/ European Board Certification. Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia
Experience: Have 1-2 years post certification experience in pediatric anesthesia preferably with 1+ year North American/ European/Australian experience
