Consultant Family Medicine

Main duties & Responsibilities: 

• Provides high standard patient care according to principles and practices of Family Medicine under the guidance and supervision of a consultant when required.
• A minimum of 70% of the time spent in direct patient care.
• Provides consultation services to other physicians within the center during the regular work and determine final patient care plan.
• Actively participates in the quality improvement program of FM&PHC.
• Takes full responsibilities of the center/department and hospital's administrative tasks that are assigned. This may Include the center/department or hospital standing and ad-hoc committees or representation of the department on committees and/or activities outside the center.
• Participates in scientific research and contribute to the center's educational activities and postgraduate training programs as per the Department Policies and Procedures (DPPs).
• Regularly participates in educational activities in order to acquire new skills and knowledge and to support career advancements and to maintain registration in Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education:

• MBBS or equivalent from an accredited institution. E
• Saudi board in Family medicine or equivalent from an accredited institution. E

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years’ satisfactory experience after recognized board in a recognized institution. E

• English Language: Level I
• Arabic Language: Preferred 
• Computer Skills: Level ll
