Consultant Genetics & Precision Medicine

Main duties & Responsibilities:

1. Provides patient care that meets or exceeds the standards set by the JCIA/CBAHI.
2. To provide specialized care for pediatric patients on the in- patient and outpatient services.
3. Participates in the various hospital/departmental medical reviews and investigations
4. Supervise and involve in the research study / works of the junior staff.
5. Participate in the Quality Improvement Management.
6. To provide consultations to other divisions with the Department of Pediatrics and to other departments within the hospital as requested.
7. Participates actively in Departmental educational program development.
8. To teach and supervise Assistant Consultant, Interns and Residents in the Department of Genetic Precision medicine.
9. Participates in the on-call schedule of the Department as well as in assigned subspecialty on call rotations, in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Department.
10. Fulfills his/her obligations related to Patient Records.
11. To serve on medical staff committees as directed by the Chairman of Department of Genetic Precision medicine.
12. To abide by the rules, policy and procedure of the Department and the Hospital.
13. To be responsible for the patients under his care.
14. Performs other job-related duties as directed by the Chairman of Department of Genetic and Precision Medicine and the Executive Director of the Medical Services – WR.

• Arabic Language: Preferred / Beneficial
• Computer Skills: Essential
• Work Experience:

1. Must have completed a recognized formal Residency Program in Pediatrics/Genetics with additional sub• specialty training in Genetics/Metabolic.
2. Must have successfully completed certification by a recognized college in Pediatrics.
3. Must have at least 5 years' clinical experience.

Graduate from Medical School recognized by NGHA. E Fellowship in Genetic/Metabolic. E
