Principal Duties:
1. Independently provide direct patient care in Radiation Oncology. (Ward rounds, clinics, On-calls).
2. Independently provide consultations to other specialties in the hospital.
3. Evaluate and manage patients referred for radiation therapy and treatment, which include initial assessment, recommendation of treatment, follow-up and management of treatment side effects.
4. Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and conferences and other related activities.
5. Prescribe and administer radiotherapy dose to patients.
6. To participate in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety projects.
7. Participate in the department / division administrative meetings.
8. Participate in the department / division educational meetings (journal club, tumor board, lectures, etc.)
9. Participate in the department / division research activities.
10. Participate in the hospital / department committees upon request.
11. TO supervise the sub consultant physicians.
12. Participate in training and education of rotating residents and junior staff members.
13. Perform and cover other duties as delegated by the chairman or division head.
14. Adhere strictly to all hospital policies and procedures
* Performs Other job related duties as assigned.
Education: MB.CH.B from accredited university -E with Fellowship training in specialty in a recognized program.
Experience: 3 Years training Experience required as consultant Radiation Oncology.
المهارات
English language skills: Level I-Essential.
Arabic language skills: Preferred.
Computer skills: Proficient level- Essential
