Staff Physician General Obstetrics & Gynecology

Education:

MBBS or equivalent from an accredited institution. E

Work Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Ob/Gyne in a recognized institution

Main duties & Responsibilities: 

1. Takes part in all team activities as for residents
2. Admission of patients, taking histories, doing physical examinations, arriving at diagnoses and differential diagnoses, ordering of special investigations, ordering treatment and doing referrals when appropriate.
3. Treatment of patients in ACC, Wards, ER, OR and L&D under the guidance of, and in cooperation with the Assistant Consultant of the team.
4. Takes part in CME, as requested and as time allows.
5. Follows Organizational/ Departmental Policies and Procedures.
6. Ensures the maintenance of high medical ethical standards in the practice of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
7. Care for and treat during prenatal, natal and post-natal periods.
8. Performs other job related duties.
