Staff Physician Pediatric Oncology

Main Duties & Responsibilities: 

1. Participate in providing patient care in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, under supervision of the senior members of the division and the MRP, (ward rounds, clinics, on-calls).
2. Participate in consultations to other specialties in the hospital, under supervision of the senior members of the division and the MRP.
3. Performs Bone marrow aspirates, biopsies, and other related procedures under supervision of the senior members of the division and the most responsible physician MRP.
4. Learns and then assists in prescribing and administering medications (chemotherapeutic agents), under supervision of the senior members of the division and the MRP.
5. Participate in the department / division educational activities (journal club, tumor board, lectures, etc).
6. Participate in the department / division research activities.
7. Participate in the hospital / department committees upon request.
8. Participate in training and education of rotating residents.
9. Perform and cover other duties as delegated by the Deputy Chairman or Division Head.
10. Adhere strictly to all hospital policies and procedures.
11. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education:

Must have a Bachelor's Degree of Medicine from a recognized medical school.

Work Experience:

At least two (2) years of clinical experience in a recognized hospital/institution. A registered member of the Saudi Board Council (essential). Training certificates in specialized field

English Language Skills:  Level 1- Essential

Arabic Language Skills:  Preferred

Computer Skills:  Proficient Level - Essential
