Storekeeper II

• Exercise due caution in product identification and closely observe packing and warning symbols, product expiration
dates and lot of numbers.
• Lead and move supplies received, using special handling techniques for specific products.
• Check incoming item quantities and description ensuring the correct items are received
• Inform Supervisor of any discrepancy in received items.
• Arrange stocks on the shelves exercising the First-in-First-out procedure
• Check expiration dates of all dated items received and advise Supervisor of any items that do not meet the
standard shelf life required by the Hospital.
• Liaise with Bulk Warehouse and Central Store prior to issues, as required.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Assist Inventory Control in performing cyclic inventories.
• Perform other job related duties.
