Arabic Medical Typist

• Responsible for typing a variety of Arabic translated medical reports, Arabic correspondence, birth and death
notices and Arabic administrative requests with 100% accuracy for inclusion in clinical records and transmission to
physicians and other medical care facilities.
• Complete Arabic transcripts and other typing tasks by transcribing information from handwritten notes or dictating
systems into electronic hard-copy documents. Ensure output is accurate and on time.
• Process reports according to established procedures. Verify report data accuracy.
• Maintain completed records log utilizing computerized processing software.
• Maintain files as required, following established filing procedures.
• Provide assistance to Release of Information section when necessary.
• Practice within the established hospital and department standards, policies and procedures. Demonstrate required
skills and knowledge of basic principles, strategies and tools of Quality Improvement to maintain privileging in the
area of assignment. Adhere to accreditation standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality pertinent to patient information release and in conformance to the organizational
policy of ethics.
