Assistant Consultant Genetics & Precision Medicine

Education:

Bachelor Degree in MBBS or equivalent. E

Saudi Board of Pediatrics or Internal Medicine or Ob/Gynecology or equivalent from an accredited institution. E

Main duties & Responsibilities: 

1. To participate in patient care for patients admitted to the hospital under the Genetics and Precision Medicine Department.
2. To participate in on-call coverage in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Genetics and Precision Medicine Department, accepting the inconveniences associated with patient's needs during the on-call coverage.
3. To provide consultation services to other divisions within the Department and other departments within the organization during the regular work and on-call hours according to the Department's Policies and Procedures and discuss the management with Genetics Consultant on duty.
4. To assist in performing diagnostic and/or therapeutic interventions and procedures for which he/she has been trained and under supervision of his/her Genetics Consultant on duty.
5. To actively participate in the quality improvement program of the Genetics and Precision Medicine Department.
6. To participate in scientific research and contribute to the department's educational activities and postgraduate training programs as per the Department's Policies and Procedures.
7. To perform other relevant duties and changes as directed by the Chairman of Genetics and Precision Medicine Department.
8. To comply with all professional and ethical standards and express adherence to the Medical Staff By-Laws of the organization.
9. Perform other job related deities
