Assistant Consultant Urology

Principle Duties:

• He is governed by the responsibilities outlined in the Medical Staff Bylaws.
• Provides high standard quality urological care.
• Operate in the OR within his approved privileges.
• Expected to be available in the working vicinity during normal working hours.
• To be available for contact at any time while in town.
• Works under the supervision of a Consultant and the Section Head, Division of Urology Surgery.
• Allowed certain aspects of primary care responsibilities within his approved privileges. These are defined and supervised by the immediate senior consultant and approved by the Section Head, Division of Urology Surgery.
• Carry assigned specific duties within the Division of Urology Surgery with restricted responsibilities as requested by his immediate senior and/or by the Section Head.
• Has no admission privilege.
• Participates in training and education of urology trainee
• Attends and participates in all Division of Urology academic activities and research.
• Attends and participates in all divisions meetings.
• Attends and participates in the Department of Surgery staff meeting.
• Actively involves and participates in the ongoing quality management program.
• Meet the CME requirements of Saudi specialization.
• During on-call, all admissions and discharges are to be seen by him in the ER.
• Ensure approval of proper TRA by the Chairman before going on leave.
• Maintains the spirit of the teamwork in the Division of Urology Surgery.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

 Education: 

Graduate from a medical school recognized by NGHA. Successful completion of a structured, accredited residency training program in Urology Surgery acceptable to NGHA - Essential.

English Language Skills: Level I- Essential

Arabic Language Skills: Essential

Computer Skills: Level: Basic
