Job Description
EMS protocols, and advanced life support guidelines for adult and pediatric patients.
• Provide high quality care during treating injuries or illnesses, using proper techniques within paramedic scope of practice in conjunction with MNGHA medical protocols.
• Maintain safety of self, colleagues, patient and bystanders at all times.
• Assess the safety and hazards at the scene of an emergency.
• Ensure readiness and preparedness to respond to any emergency or crisis situation as required.
• Check, clean and restock the ambulance and equipment used for pre-hospital emergency medical care.
• Utilize specialized communication equipment to consult with On-line medical director and/or notify hospitals of transfer’s condition.
• Complete of all EMS detailed documentation either that is related to medical information or regularly performed as; ambulance, bags, monitor, e.g. medication checklists.
• Attend continuing medical education (CME) on an ongoing basis to maintain licensing and/or certification and the standards of knowledge and skills. Attend professional development courses and participate in professional research programs.
• Comply with department policies and procedures.
• Maintain the condition, operation and driving of the emergency vehicle.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Perform other job-related duties.

Skills
Education:
bachelor's degree in emergency medical care or related discipline from an accredited institution – Essential Basic Life Support (BLS), Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) – Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Critical Care Emergency Medical Transport Program (CCEMT-P) – Preferred Emergency Vehicle Operation Course (EVOC) – Preferred Registration with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties – Essential.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 3 (three) years as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic or similar Paramedic functions in comparable setting/environment – Essential Other Requirement | Valid Saudi Driving License – Essential.
