Scholarship Announcement - Fellowship in Pediatric Neurology (Movement Disorder) - Jeddah

King Abdullah Specialist Children Hospital, Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs in Jeddah is pleased to announce the availability of the scholarship opportunity for Fellowship in Pediatric Neurology (Movement Disorder). 

The selected candidate who will pass the medical checkup, will be recruited on a temporarily position for one year and he/she will be required to work in the Dept. of Pediatric Neurology prior and after scholarship. Within one year, he/she must secure an admission from a recognized university overseas.

The basic qualifications are as follows:

•  Saudi national
• 45 years old and below
• GPA 3.5 out of 5 and above
• Board or Equivalent in Pediatrics Neurology
• Registration/License from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
• Saudi Licensing Examination result SMLE (mandatory)
• Government/ private sector employees can apply only with a presence of a well-known overseas acceptance

The required documents are:

• Updated CV
• Graduation certificate (Bachelor’s Degree), Board Certificate
• Saudi Licensing Examination result SMLE (mandatory)
• Three recent recommendation letters (at least two of them should be from consultants in the selected specialty)
• Copy of your Saudi ID + passport+ badge (for NGHA employees)
• USMLE / MCCEE result (if available)
• English test results; TOEFL/IELTS (if available)
• Having an offer from recognized university overseas is an advantage
