Scholarship Announcement for Fellowship in Neonatology followed by Fellowship in Hemodynamics - Jed

King Abdullah Specialist Children Hospital, Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs in Jeddah is pleased to announce the availability of the scholarship opportunity for Fellowship in Neonatology followed by Fellowship in Hemodynamics. 

The selected candidate who will pass the medical checkup, will be recruited on a temporarily position for one year and he/she will be required to work in the Dept. of Pediatrics prior and after scholarship. Within one year, he/she must secure an admission from a recognized university overseas. 

The basic qualifications are as follows:

•  Saudi national
• 45 years old and below
• GPA 3.5 out of 5 and above
• Saudi Board in Pediatrics
• Registration/License from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
• Saudi Licensing Examination result SMLE (mandatory)
• Government/ private sector employees can apply only with a presence of a well-known overseas acceptance. 

The required documents are:

• Updated CV
• Graduation certificate (Bachelor’s Degree), Board Certificate
• Saudi Licensing Examination result SMLE (mandatory)
• Three recent recommendation letters (at least two of them should be from consultants in the selected specialty)
• Copy of your Saudi ID + passport+ badge (for NGHA employees)
• USMLE / MCCEE result (if available)
• English test results; TOEFL/IELTS (if available)
