Staff Physician Adult Cardiology

1. At least two (2) years of clinical experience adult cardiology in a recognized hospital/institution.
2. At least three (3) years work experience in Adult cardiology in a recognized NGHA center.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Participate in the on-call duties as first on-call covering mainly ER and adult cardiology wards, CCU and other hospital consultations.
2. Provide patient care in Adult Cardiology to both inpatient and outpatients.
3. Participate in the educational programs/activities and research works/study.
4. Participate in the CPR training, intubation and mechanical ventilation training.
5. Participate in the management of acutely-ill patients presenting with acute medical and cardiac cases.
6. Perform duties on rotation to different cardiac areas/services.
7. Must be flexible to do coverage as needed/called by member of the Adult Cardiology team.
8. Perform screening for new and follow-up cardiac patients.
9. Participate in the supervision of Residents rotating in cardiac services as well as providing lectures.
10. Initiate plan management action as required to all critically-ill patients during on-call duties.
11. Participate in the Quality Improvement management activity.
12. Participate in the laboratory aspects of Adult Cardiology and others that might develop including intensive care or coronary care of the center/hospital.
13. Must adhere to departmental and hospital procedures, policies, and protocols.
14. Must be accountable to the Head Section and Chairman to carry out the above task on a "higher professional level".
