Staff Physician ER/URGI Center – Family medicine

Main duties & Responsibilities: 

• Attends and performs patient care shift duties, of his assigned shift area in the UCC, commensurate with his/her education, experience, credentialing and job description.
• Assist; as requested, in the design, implementation, reviews and updates of Policies & Procedures for the UCC every 2 years.
• Orients, advises and updates members / colleagues regarding the most currently revised hospital department polices, procedures, standards and regulations.
• Keep his certification status (BLS, ACLS & PALS) updated as well as maintaining his required CME Credits for the Saudi Council for Health Specializations (SCHS).
• Participates; as requested, in the implementation of the UCC Performance Improvement Plan (PIP); criteria, standards & indicators to evaluate, monitor, and implement changes and re-evaluates changes to improve the quality and appropriateness of practice provided by the department; in accordance with CBAHI standards.
• Attends and participates in the center meetings; departmental staff meetings, mortality and morbidity, and quality improvement.
• Liaison and coordination on operational issues with Nursing Leadership.
• Liaison and coordination with Patient Experience Officer assigned on patient complaints, sick leave issuance, medical report issuance and follow up.
• Participates In the maintenance of medical contingency disaster plans for the UCC.
• Become familiar and competently understand his role expectations during Disaster Response (Code Black); primarily that of leading and coordinating designated Triage Teams including medical operation, oversight emergency response and medical evacuation during his/her shift.
• Performs other duties assigned by the Center, Director & Deputy Executive Director, which are within the post-holder's qualifications and capabilities

• English Language: Level I
• Arabic Language: Essential 
• Computer Skills: Proficient level 

MBBS / Graduate from Medical School recognized by NGHA.
