Manpower Planning Specialist

• Assist with continuous and ongoing workforce requirements reviews and forecasting the organization’s future workforce needs, and draft plausible recommendations on how these needs could be met in line with organization’s policy, budget and best practices. Assist senior staff members on compiling studies on expansions. Objectively evaluate all requests for additional manpower, collate relevant case history, source and study relevant statistical reports, and draft objective recommendations to create new, delete, reclassify, retitle, trade off and split positions by working closely with MPS Reviewer and other senior staff within the department. • Collate routine information regarding current number of staff, distribution of staff, levels within the organization, turnover rates, retention data, hierarchy, organizational structures, etc. Use statistical techniques to forecast manpower requirements. Assist with any further required data gathering and collating. Coordinate with various departments and outside entities on gathering the required relevant information for cases and positions in a functional format. Conduct basic calculations and design spreadsheets. • Provide information regarding requests of manpower through expansions and commissioning for proper utilization of position titles and scope of position. • Take complete responsibility of the referred-to case in terms of completion, data gathering and submission within the determined timelines, ensuring proper data collection, accurate interpretation, basic analysis steps, and writing and presentation skills, among other skills. Advise and update immediate superior of any unforeseen delays in the cases; ask for advice and resolve the request within the appropriate timelines as much as possible. • Collaborate closely with the MPS Reviewer, immediate superior and other senior staff on steps to improve data accuracy, case clarity and turnaround time. • Participate in special projects by taking full responsibility in gathering and sourcing all the necessary information as might be requested. Take active role in project work and proactively collaborate with senior staff within the department. • Assist with archiving historical data pertaining to Manpower Planning Section. • Assist in designing and improving effective and efficient work processes, eliminating bottlenecks, ensuring timely follow-ups, coordinating timely information verification with other sections within and outside the department. • Provide timely information facilitation to other sections within and outside the department pertaining to manpower planning activities and updates within the policy. • Ensure that each contact is dealt with superior customer service skills, by utilizing good telephone and email manners. • Ensure complete confidentiality of flowing information at all times. Assistant Consultant Cardiac Surgery

Principal Duties: l. Participate in the on-call duties as a first on-call covering mainly ER and cardiac surgical wards and other specialties. 2. Provide patient care in cardiac surgery to both inpatients and outpatients. 3. Participate in the educational activities and research works. 4. Staff Nurse I

- Provide total, direct nursing care in accordance with the plan of care and needs of the patients with respect for the patient's privacy, dignity, personal preference and culture. Assess patient/family discharge planning needs utilizing appropriate resources. - Document all assessments, interventions and other relevant information in the patients’ health care records on an ongoing basis. - Collaborate with the patient/family and other members of the health care team to develop and update a plan of care that is consistent with the medical diagnosis and based on the patient's changing physical, psychosocial and age-related requirements. Establish realistic and measurable goals that are culturally sensitive and identifies nursing interventions to achieve the goals. Evaluate on an ongoing basis the patient’s progress and the appropriateness of the plan of care involving the patient/family and other health team members, and update the plan as needed. Recognize when patient care needs extend beyond the limits of personal ability and consultappropriate resources.• Provide a leadership and resource role in the provision of patient care, as applicable. Act as a unit management resource, as might be assigned (i.e. care coordinators, charge nurse, team leader, etc.), initiate appropriate chain of command if unable to resolve issues satisfactorily. Demonstrate required skills and knowledge of basic principles, strategies and tools of Quality Improvement to maintain privileging in the area of assignment. Meet the standards of care elements as approved for each nursing specialty (i.e. intensive care unit, pediatric, operating room, etc.) - Protect patient privacy and dignity at all times and maintain strict confidentiality in conformance to the organizational policy of ethics.
